Dublin
Ginette and Jean were invited as guest singers to An Góilín – a long-running weekly gathering dedicated to traditional singing which meets in the centre of Dublin. The hosts were friendly and the attendees great singers mainly from Ireland but also from USA, Türkiye, Japan and France. Ginette and Jean did two sets of four songs – a mix of traditional and contemporary English folk plus three of Ginette’s compositions. Great feedback and they hope to return.

Not to waste a trip to Ireland, Ginette and Jean continued west to the Atlantic coast to join an annual folk music weekend. We crowded into the bar and added our voices to the hours of music. It was a delight to be part of such joyous singing.
